The Aboriginal Golf Club of SA was incorporated in 2017. Prior to this, the Committee was driven by a number of key indivduals, including Eugene Warrior, Glennis Warrior and Trevor Buzzacott.
The women's perpetual trophy has been named after the late May Turner (pictured) since the 2015 Aboriginal Golf Day. May was well known in the community as a very good golf player over many years.
The men's perpetual trophy is named after the late Matt Rigney, who was a keen golfer and a strong Ngarrindjeri advocate.
